Question by nursegoodbodyandmind: I was given a Bissell ProHeat carpet cleaner by my neighbor who was moving today. How do I use this thing?
Can I use my oxiclean solution in it? What about a little regular soap and water? HELP!
I use Oxiclean to make a solution with water on my carpets now. You mix the powder to make a liquid. I wasn’t thinking of putting the powder in it.

My brother didn’t empty the water out and its my first time using this carpet cleaner. But anyway how do I empty out the bucket thingy, also how do I fill it up and do I use water also or just the cleaning stuff.

Take the handle and lay the machine down…lift out the bucket…take it to the sink,( empty and rinse)..there’s a deal with on the top of the bucket..flip it after which the top comes off. …fill with scorching tap water and put high on and lock in place….place again in machine…on the aspect of the machine there is a plastic bottle thing…this is the place the cleaning fluid goes. on the highest of the lengthy wand..the factor you hold on to is a lever…this permits the water and the cleaning fluid to disperse…
make a number of swipes with the machine after which travel to suck up the liquid…this helps drying time…

I’ve got a Bissell steam mop. I don’t really like it. It’s a little heavy and your wrist hurts after a while. Your floors are rather wet when you finish and it takes a while for them to dry. My tiles always dried streaky. I think I used it 4 maybe 5 times and it’s been sitting in my cupboard for months now.

Question by : Are bissell steam carpet cleaners worth it?
I’ve been trying into getting a steam cleaner to wash our carpets. The one I’m taking a look at is a bissell quicksteamer powerbrush multi surface deep cleaner. It is only 99.99 so I am questioning if it truly works prefer it says. (I don’t see paying 200+ on a steam cleaner.) My carpets are in good condition since my house was built in 08 but they do have stains due to our 2 12 months outdated, my husband and our cats and dog. My question is will this cleaner get out my set in stains comparable to oil from my husband, pet stains, and juice, and so forth stains? The stains are actually mild because I have mostly gotten them out with spot cleaners I take advantage of but they’re nonetheless noticable and it’s embaressing to have my carpet stained.Additionally if anyone knows does bissell embrace the cleaning formula whenever you buy the steam cleaner? Every other enter would also be great.

Check operating instructions in manual. Check water level. Check for enough time to heat water into steam before use. Check for blown fuse. Heating element possible burnout. Return for warranty.
